2011-2012 Planned Fundraising

The following is a list of currently planned fundraising activities to assist you in planning your participation.


Spirit Item Sales

Show pride in your school and order your Mariposa gear. In addition to T-shirts, we will be selling Mariposa backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles, and caps. Click here to purchase your spirit items.


Restaurant Nights

Take a night off from cooking and join other Mariposa families at one of our restaurant nights. It's a good way to socialize with the Mariposa community with a minimum of 20% of the evening's sales going to the school.

Cookie Dough

Here is a fundraiser that is bound to be a hit with friends and family. Cookie dough is a deliciously easy way to support the many projects your PTO is working on with 40% of the profits going to the school. Talk about yummy results! Look for it this spring.


Harvest Festival 50/50 Raffle

The Mariposa Harvest Festival 50/50 Raffle prize will be half of the proceeds generated by raffle ticket sales with a minimum of $250. The more we sell, the more the prize goes up. At the Spring Carnival the lucky winner won over $1000.


Scholastic Book Fair

The Fall and Spring Book Fairs are great events that not only raise money for the school but also foster a love of reading for our students. Come see all the new and exciting books out for children and families October 26th through November 2nd. All proceeds from the fairs go directly to Mariposa's Library!


Friends of Mariposa Fundraising Gala and Silent Auction

Mark your calendars for Friday, November 4th from 7-10 p.m. The 2nd annual Fundraising Gala will take place at the Ahwatukee Foothills Golf Club! Click here for more information!


Garage Sale

The Mariposa Garage Sale will take place in the Spring on March 3rd. We will be looking for donations from the community including, household items, books, furniture, sporting equipment, toys, etc. (please no computer or TV monitors). More information will be coming soon!


Entertainment Books

This Fall fundraiser was a huge success! Students sold 584 Entertainment Books and raised approximately $8,900 for Mariposa. Way to go! A special thank you to Liz Perez for all her hard work and dedication in chairing this successful fundraiser.
