PALS

What is PALS? PALS stands for Parents Assisting Learning in School. This committee provides clerical support to our teachers so that they can focus on instructional time.

When can I help? This committee offers a flexible schedule. PALS volunteers can help out based on your own availability during school hours. It can be a set schedule or when you have time.

How and where can I help? PALS' jobs include making copies, laminating, sorting, sharpening pencils, cutting, stapling, binding and much, much more. No task is too great or too small. Experience not necessary and training is provided. Most of the PALS work can be done at school in the workroom down the hall from the office. Some tasks can be taken home to finish.

Why is PALS important? Our teachers work so hard to educate our children and we would prefer they spend as much of the school day teaching and not have to worry so much about getting all of their materials together. PALS affords them that opportunity. This is yet another way that we can express our appreciation for what our teachers do by helping them do it.
